What does this PR do?
Fixes an issue where the
docker-entrypointinside of the beats containers no longer worked the same as it did before the switch to Ubuntu 20.04 as the base image in 7.17.0.This is because Ubuntu ships with
mawkinstead ofgawk. This change switches the container back to usinggawk.Why is it important?
Allows the
docker-entrypointto provide the same behavior that was provided in <7.16.x in 7.17.1+. Switch togawkalso ensures that any one that usesawkin a derived container with one of the beats as a base the same awk commands will work.Checklist
